We are happy to present to you the members of the Brasil Delegation with their project: “Tenda Móvel (Nomad Tent)”
School: Escola Professor Milton Façanha Abreu (Mulungu, Ceará State)
Project Description: Students from a public high school created and provided an open space in a community called Bastiões with the goal of bringing the community and local authorities together in dialogues, debates or cultural activities to help solve social and structural problems. The project – «Nomad Tent»- is about developing a higher social engagement. In Bastiões, they could not only provide a better street lighting but engage the community to discover it's own history through a artistic memorial and cultural exchange. Bastiões was their first attempt – now they are expanding to other neighborhoods.
