We are happy to present to you the members of the USA Delegation with their project: “H.O.P.E. (Have Only Positive Expectations)”
School: Washington Elementary (Sandpoint, Idaho)
Project Description: In Sandpoint, Idaho, community there have been six suicides in the past two years committed by teenagers. We know that factors in suicide are a lack of resilience and lack of feeling valued. Our H.O.P.E. is to prevent suicide by making kids in our community feel valued and teaching them resilience.
